“I feel invisible”


 My children were 4 and 1. I was married to a man that was terrified of my emotional depths, and used the withholding of love as a weapon. I was desperately attempting to fit into a box of a traditional housewife- and failing. I was not entirely clear on who I was before I became a mother, but after, I had become even more lost. I struggled to remember or create an identity outside of motherhood. There was a deep need to reconcile motherhood within me, to be able to integrate it into my identity… 

I was told that I was experiencing postpartum depression. What I did not know at the time, was that the depression was a symptom, not the root cause. My needs were being neglected. I was trying to give from an empty cup. 

I tried the “stay at home mom” route after my second child was born. My self-neglect escalated with doing things like eating my kids leftovers (instead of making myself a meal), not showering sometimes for an entire week. Endless diapers, endless laundry. I lived in a remote town with no internet service for months, and no cell phone service. I had no community, family or friends that lived within the state. My predominant feelings were loneliness, longing, anger and shame. 

Sometimes we can get to a point where we are unable to feel joy anymore with our child(ren) because we are SO disconnected from ourselves. Please, if this is you, you are not alone and you should NOT feel ashamed. What I am sharing here may help you to understand why this may be happening.

In an attempt to reconnect with my true self, I enrolled in a hypnotherapy class, and opened up a can of worms to my unconscious as a result! The following months allowed me to begin to unravel what needed to change in my life. 

Over the next several years, armed with new awareness, I took bold, scary action. I began listening to my heart. I began hearing my intuition. This resulted in many drastic life changes, including filing for divorce, becoming a single parent, losing 35 lbs, quitting smoking and launching my first online program for moms! I hired my first mentor and began playing guitar for the first time in over a decade. 


This all didn’t happen overnight. It happened with a choice, every day. A willingness to be with the emotions as they arose and the key elements I have on offer for you within this program! 


The core of Transformative Self Care for Moms is YOU. It is about shifting the focus to meet your needs. Often in the trenches of new motherhood we get lost. We need someone/something to help guide us back home to ourselves. I can be that guide - reminding YOU that you are actually the guide! Sounds paradoxical, but until we learn to trust ourselves, we will continue to seek externally for our answers.

These 5 keys built my lighthouse. They are the pillars of my foundation.

Merging esoteric wisdom with cutting edge science, human design gives a powerful map of our soul and personality.  This tool will be used to deepen the results of empowerment, looking through the lens of your unique design.
